(President Trump Signing the Executive Order)
“We are a national governing body and follow federal law” NCAA President Charlie Baker told Republican senators in December. “Clarity on this issue at the federal level would be very helpful.”
Despite ongoing political debates, the number of transgender athletes in women’s sports remains low. In Senate testimony, Baker noted that out of 500,000 NCAA athletes, fewer than 10 are known to be transgender.

Current President Of The United State’s Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports, following through on a key promise from his 2024 campaign.
The order introduces broad policies on sex and sports regulations, instructing federal agencies—including the Department of Justice—to interpret Title IX as prohibiting transgender girls and women from participating in female sports categories.
Titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” the directive mandates immediate enforcement, targeting schools and athletic associations that deny women single-sex sports and locker rooms. It also calls on state attorneys general to develop best practices for implementing the policy.

During the signing ceremony, Trump was surrounded by female athletes who were thankful for this, as many of them were patiently waiting to get Female sports into Woman’s hands.
“Under the Trump administration, we will uphold the proud legacy of female athletes and will not allow men to harm, outcompete, or take advantage of our women and girls” Trump declared.
